If you’re an IT administrator, manager, law enforcement personnel, media, educator, student or anyone else interested in staying on top of the cutting edge of information security, the National Information Security Group (NAISG) has you covered. They’re a nonprofit organization that has taken on promoting awareness and education about information security, and we’re proud to have them as a member.
NAISG welcomes all who are interested in learning more about information security; you don’t have to have specific training or experience to join them and learn or share tips and tricks, or to network with other professionals. Their events are free and open to the general public. The organization strives to keep everyone informed about information security by:
- Presenting information monthly through discussions, Q&A sessions, job announcements, demonstrations and hands-on workshops
- Providing a place for organizations to distribute information and educate others on security products, techniques and other security issues
- Maintaining online Tech Tips that allow subscribers to post and respond to security and IT related questions
- Offering security resources on their website
